THE GROUP
Manufacturers of barley malt for sale to the brewing industry in Rajasthan and is the leading supplier of this specialty agro-based product in the region. The group owns and operates two barley malt production units at Neemrana, Alwar and Jatusana, Rewari, Rajasthan. These units supply barley malt to the leading beer brewing and affiliated companies in India.
The group also operates a spirits bottling plant at Alwar, which bottles Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) under license from spirits marketing companies and for the defense forces. The plant has a capacity for distilling and bottling up to 150000 cases of IMFL per month.
The group has recently diversified into security services and hospitality, where they are undertaking the construction of a hotel in Alwar, Rajasthan.
MANAGEMENT
Group is headed by Mrs. Kavita Yadav, who’s the Group Chairman & Chief Visionary. She partnered with her husband, Late Major OP Yadav – the have been leading industrialists of the region for more than thirty years and provided the main leadership to the group to make it the leading manufacturer and supplier to the industry in the region.
Vishal Yadav is the group’s Managing Director and is leading the group’s foray in diversification and expansion of its production base. Vishal has an MBA from an International Management Institute, New Delhi and also has a degree in Labor Relations from the University of New Haven, Connecticut. He has worked in the brewing industry in USA with the Mendocino Brewing Company in Texas, where he was responsible for marketing of the company’s Craft Beer products in the state. The plants’ operations are managed by professionals that have been with the company for decades.
FUTURE OUTLOOK
The Alwar Malt Group is looking to align strategically with other industries to expand its operations and is also looking for strategic investment opportunities. The management is geared up to look for opportunities for strategic investment in companies that are positioned for growth in the segment.
